If they are just using Joye 510's now even an eGo is an upgrade. Plus, the eGo is something that should be in everyones arsenal anyway. I'm also a big fan of the 14650 e-power for an introduction into big boy toys. It's really simple and it's hard to do anything wrong with it. People tend to just make a mess of things by getting proVaris, BuzzPros, and the like before they are ready.

If you are really hell bent on getting a vv, probably should look at this one too.

I have two GLV2 super minis & I love them. They are a true 3.7V and give a stronger vape than an ego. 3.7V is my favorite place to vape to get good flavor, th and vapor. I have a 5v, but I don't like it near as well. The GLV2 SM is very versatile with the cartomizer or atty you put on it.
