RDA loose center post new rda

Maybe this will prove my newbness.

The center pin on my Vulcan clone is loose so naturally I went to tighten the copper screw, and it went below the body of rda. So battery will touch the body not the copper screw. Looks like a rubber gasket is to short. This rda is a week or two old. Any help?

thats a pain!! if you have some other atty's you could try other 510 screws from them... or just m ayb a bit of foil or wire will jam the thread together....sorry thats all i got for you im afraid

Yeal, that's a pain. It's pretty easy to pull the positive pin up into the atty with that fine threading. If it hasn't damaged the grommet, try just snugging it up to see if it will work.

If you have a clearomizer or anything that you can rob the bottom grommet from, that might work. I've also read some posts that mentioned teflon tape but I've never tried that.

I would be very careful about using foil or wire as a fix. You don't want to create a short between the pin ans the outer metal tube. That can cause what's known as a really bad day.

Perhaps finding something thin like a mini screwdriver and gently prying the pin back out a bit might work.

yes! a bad day made worse! i ment if he put the wire inside the post where the 510 pin screws in to it would add to the 510's length, so it would be inside the middle post ontop of the pin
