Lost Vape Therion 166 (DNA250)

Well despite my setback last week with the Finder 167 (a long, sad, very irritating story ). I ordered a Therion 166 (DNA250) tonight for a belated Christmas present to myself. Vape NW has them in stock and is running a 10% sale which brought the price down to $121 and change shipped. The best part is they have the new Black Frame in stock (that's the one one I ordered).

lost vape is also releasing some new covers: Carbon Fiber, Wood Dust Yellow, and one that looks like either the Croc or the Elephant on the Finder.

I've been very happy with both the quality and aesthetics of my lost vape mods and I don't expect that to change with this mod. Ordering it from a USA company doesn't hurt either. From now on I plan to stick with USA companies when ordering mods. If you have an issue, exchanging or returning them for a refund is a lot simpler.

I just received my Lost Vape Therion 166. So far it working like a charm, I set up my profiles and I'm vaping on it as I type this. I realy like the looks and feel of this mod. Unfortunately the extra Carbon Fiber battery door I ordered didn't arrive today. I'm hoping for tomorrow.
Edit I just checked the tracking number on the Carbon Fiber door. It just arrived at my Post Office down the street.

Been peeking in on your pictures and gonna order the device as you show in the pictures but will not be needing the carbon fiber battery cover.... sweet looking device and I have held off until now in getting a device with a DNA250 board in it... 166 watts is over 120 watts more that I need LOL......

I'd say the brown for during the day, then going more formal with the carbon fiber in the evening.

I believe it sold out shortly after I placed my order. The Black Frame seems to be very popular. After getting it I can see why. Not only does it look great, feels great in hand, it also works great as well. I'm very happy with the Theriot 166. It's all I've used since receiving it.

Any luck finding it? Wish I'd waited and ordered the black frame also but as usual got all impulsive and had to have that 166 for C-mas before that was an option

I haven't had my Black Therion 167 for long, but it's the only mod I've used since I received it. As a matter of fact I just got back from a trip to Pennsylvania and it wasn't babied. All my Lost Vape mods still look as good as the day I bought them for that matter. Here's a picture I just took about an hour ago:

I'm seeing that FT has received the new stock of 166 Therion's with carbon fiber replacing the wooden panels. Still no black frames there and apparently they are having difficulty sourcing the wood to boot!

Steve., thanks for the info. on durability of the finish. If VapeNW gets the black frame back in stock I think I'll spring for a second Therion since I see you have 2 Triades lol

They had three I've never seen before but this is the one I liked best. I really like LV's mods in general and the Black frame in particular! This will be mine even though I really don't need another mod, ever .

It looks really cool, but with the sepia treatment of the photo, it's hard for me to judge what the color will really be. It could be a really cool grey or a warm grey. Maybe there will be more photos at some point to judge.

Its beautiful, lost vape has really out done themselves with reasonable priced quality mods. Hats off to evolve as well.

It's funny because when I first looked at a Therion 133 I already had a Triade and Efusion Duo, and other then looking pretty wasn't sure it was a necessary purchase (OK none are necessary, but maybe harder to objectively justify, not that it stopped me in the past). After getting it (the 133 as I ran out of patience for the 166) I will say of the three it's my favorite. Yes, both the others go to 200, but I never have and doubt I ever will make use of that, and the Triade does have longer battery life, but the Therion just feels so solid and just plain looks so good it's tough to put down.

Now, with the black frame and new backs, it's just torture deciding which to get. The good thing is being able to get different backs. Of course each back is so nice, I feel like I need a frame to put them on. Is it really bad I feel a new back deserves a new mod, instead of the reverse?
