RDA Magma RDA - lifting of air channels

Going to be trying this mod shortly. I suspect some of the seeping of e-liquid to the inside of the airflow ring may be coming more from the threading between the halves rather than through the air hole. This mod will help me track that down.

My coils sit 1/2 the height of that tube. See no need to add more than 1mm high post if you do this modification.

I just went to ebay.com and searched for what the OP was using: 10x 2.0mm 12G High Quality Sterile Body Hoop Ear Nose Piercing Needle. Mine came from Hong Kong and fit nicely.

Thanks for the idea. Here is mine with buffered down 12G needle tubes (doesn't look nice like your's.LOL). There hasn't been any leakage at all even with the overfill and laying the "Magma" down on it's side.
BTW, I have a "clone" Magma and 16-14G are too small for the holes diameter.12G fits perfectly with some buffering involved.

I never get leaking into the airholes,my problem was leaking into the threading from the top of the deck,i just removed the AFRing and screwed the top cap down tight,dry as a bone now.I aloso can file down the AFR now to fit.

The needles that I got fit snug. No angle cut was required.

Gator, they give you options. I picked up the 2mm and the 1.8mm. I think I'm going to give this a try, just a little raising should be good.

Correct. I inserted them by hand and they went in snugly.
