A workshop is being held tonight to help people with their written and in-person testimonies for the AG hearing on April 23rd.
A general outline of topics to be covered:
-Dos and Don'ts of what to say and write
-Ideas if you dont know what to say
-How to get your message across
-How to act, we need to act in a professional manner to be taking seriously
-We need to show that we are subject matter experts
-Dress as if you are going to a job interview
--No jeans, shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, etc
--Wear a collared shirt like a button down or a polo
--If you only have jeans make sure they look nice and wear a collared shirt
--I personally will be removing all of my piercings and will be wearing slacks instead of a skirt because I have tattoos on my legs.
-If you feel uncomfortable with speaking you dont have to speak, just be there.
