So I'm having fun with high(ish) ohm mouth-to-lung builds for unregulated.
Have you guys and gals done that, and do you have any recommendations?

It seems to be a bit challenging to make a tasty build while keeping the heat flux low enough to not scorch the cotton.

My newest build is nice though. 10 spaced wraps 26g SS 316L 3mmØ.
Single coil obviously. It lies just above 0.6ohms
I previously did the same with 26g kanthal 5 wraps, and it seemed like the heat flux was way too high.

Any other ideas? :)

Using the same gauge and length of wire the coil mass, and the heat flux at the same wattage, should be very close with ss and kanthal. Of course, the resistance of the kanthal coil will be about double, so when used on a mech the wattage - and thus heat flux - will be pretty much halved.
