Anyone on meds and vaping?

I was just prescribed nucynta (cousin of morphine) and methylprednisolone...I'm noticing my heart is beating a bit faster, but don't know if it's the meds doing it alone or the vaping is contributing to it.

I use to be on oxycotin, lyrica, vicodin, percocet, and a whole buncha other pills and smoking didn't effect the meds on me...

Do I need to go back to 0 nic?

There is a list of medications that may have interactions or be contra-indicated when using NRTs such as nicotine skin patches or nicotine gum.

Therefore it is possible that e-cigarette use may have similar implications. I'm not sure why this might be different to smoking, if at all.

We don't have a list of meds implicated, and we should probably do that. But in any case you must ask your doctor. In the meantime, perhaps use the lowest strength of nicotine and watch the consumption rate.
