That looks awesome OP. I was browsing an auto forum the other day and saw that someone had some of their interior pieces of their car dipped in a real looking wood (non-glossy) and couldn't help but to think how sweet that would look on a REO. I'll see if I can find the pic.

Here it is. Those pieces are hydro dipped and I think a REO would look totally BA done like that!!!

that looks gorgeous. I'm assuming you dissembled it first before painting, but how did you ensure that the paint didn't go into the threads (where the atty goes)?

I stripped it down. I asked them to seal off the 510 connection and the firing pin as I did not want to remove those items

At first in one of your photos I saw the purple efest and was very confused. I thought you put a hole in the mod to see your battery lol. The dip looks awesome!
