watch?v=DlSDqUkFvYk&feature=re.lated posted 2 months ago at 0:23 you say you were arrested for minor possesion of tobacco, you are not 21.

This teen states first that he needs these for help with quitting smoking. You do not know who ordered this product.

This product may have been ordered for this teen by an adult. You were wrong to notify the seller without any facts.

This teen is Using the product, not abusing it. It is not illegal for this teen to use any tobacco or e-cig in the privacy of his own home. He was only arrested for having a tobacco product in public.

Your vendatta is one lead by hate and agner and not facts. You show no caring for this teen at all. I say this thread and all related threads should be deleted by the mods.

This thread is not for the debate of if minors should be allowed to vape or not, nor is it for the debate of if these videos should be left on youtube. Posts such as these derail the thread and bury the new video links. Forum members should be able to find the newest video's easily and make a decision if they want to participate or not.

Please keep all debate on the subject in the below thread, and don't forget to vote!:

I'm just fine ignoring your wises on this. The Mods have not enforced your wishes. You cannot force a monopoly on opinion on ECF. I am sorry it hurts your feelings, but your just going to have to live with it. You cannot force a one sided issue and demand that you do not have reasonable discussion about it. If I only posted in that thread, people may not see the important information I have that pertains to this thread.

But since you reminded me, I will also repost that same message in the other thread so more people can view it.

Simply put, I believe you are wrong and I will continue to oppose you with intelligent discussion in this thread if I choose, until a Mod tells me otherwise.

I do not believe they will do that. The day ECF starts allowing monopolies on opinion will be the day they stop being a fair and unbiased discussion forum and become a tool for some agenda. ECF wants to stay neutral.

Well, i just thought you would respect the OP's wishes. I wasn't trying to impose any rules. I was just asking nicely that this thread not be for any comments and only video links.

Ordinarily I would agree with you and respect an Op's wishes but I believe that request is unfair and should never have been allowed for you to make by the mods in the first place. They should have told you right away it was unfair for you to ask that of people and told you if you did, you do so at your own risk and they will not enforce it.

I'm not here to fight with you but I do think balance in this thread is the right thing for all.

STOP LYING !

Stop notifying the supplier. You have no facts. This is misleading and is the same as lying. This kid said he had been smoking for the past two years, so now he wants to try a safer alternative. Sure he's young but he needs e-cigs as much as you do. His parents could have bought this for him.. and if it was bought online with a credit card, they probably did - there is no way this kid can get a credit card.

This kid is not breaking ANY law vaping in his own home. This teen is Not abusing an e-cig he is using one.

You really making yourself look like an ANTI

How about videos made by minors having sex with each other and being posted by themselves on the internet?
It's not illegal for them to have sex.
It's not hurting either of them.
It is a much safer alternative than having sex with an adult.
They may be having sex with another minor to quit having sex with adults.
It could be argued (probably by a pedophile) that technically, it's not child porn.

Does any of that make it a responsible?
I submit that it does not.

Admittedly, this is not a fair comparison. It's like comparing Granny Smith apples to Red Delicious apples ;)
I truly feel you on this and support freedom, including their freedom to do what they want to whenever they want to.
I personally feel that it is very poor judgement for them to publicize themselves engaging in an act that MAY or MAY NOT (neither of us can show proof either way) lead to restrictions on the freedoms of adult activities.

I also find the arguement that without publicly demonstrating the fact that they are using e-cigs to quit (which is by far the minority of their vids) a specious one at best.
Kids learned how to smoke without youtube and have learned how to quit without youtube.
The kid with the video that had the "Smoke weed" message in the description of his cinematic masterpiece is a punk kid who should have his video pulled for that fact alone but somehow is still up.
Freedom comes with responsibility.
Were it my kid I'd spank his ... red every day he vaped. That's my right, yes? ;)

I posted in the polls section on this topic and just want to add that I dedicated the first 18 years of my "professional" career dealing with children from 6-18 and dealt with every kind of issue imaginable and I mean every in those 18 years. My job was eliminated in October for lack of federal, state and local funding and I'm pretty good at what I did/do. That tells me all I need to know about the CURRENT "conviction"/commitment to youth on those levels. Perhaps a bit off topic but it's all intertwined....addictions therapy, family therapy etc. Education is the best answer but do know you can lead a horse to water but ya can't always make him drink I believe the saying goes.

EDIT: I apologize OP, I'm definitely off topic here as I just glanced at the front and saw the vid preview and I went into work mode....

No. That would be looked at as child abuse in almost every state in the US. These days, you can not only go to jail for that but the teen can successfully sue you for it in court.

If a teen vaping video causes another teen to start vaping and thus save their life, how is that bad judgement?

That's what those teen vaping videos are made for. i say, let them do the important life saving job they are meant to do.

This teen above he should be given a medal for his bravery. It's hard to face a gang of peers who smoke and stand up and say, Hey, I'm going to try to do the right thing and use something that will help me get off cigarettes.

Even adults who use e-cigs get laughed at by adult smokers. These teens have some guts and more times than not, they just want to better themselves and help others at the same time.

Whether or not he "needs" it, it's illegal for him to have it. Sorry but I highly disagree with you. What the kid needs is corrective authority...basically, his backside tanned.

I can't argue anymore this is lunacy. The videos should be pulled for a ton of reasons, mainly because they don't help anyone especially our rights to vape. If we lose those rights due to minors Vaping on youtube everyone loses including the kids. You aren't going to change the world by proving your point.

You are using these videos as a platform to preach about a bigger issue you disagree with.

You are wrong, but keep it up I'm sure the FDA will convince the government to lower the smoking age to 10 rather than ban it altogether. We owe it all to you.

If we lose all our rights to vape but these videos save just One teens life, then I'm all for it ! I will never understand how you people can be so cold and heartless to these teens who need help.

Keep spouting off without proof.. you say these don't help anyone.. BIG BS. I am collecting stories from these teens and many of them have started using e-cigs to quit smoking because of these teen videos.

It's working, teen smokers are learning how to live without smoking through e-cigs. You want to discourage that.. How evil IMO.
