OK. I just determined that the e juice I buy online in an amount over $50 is taxable in MN in 2015. My usual supplier is out of state. The law also indicates the exempt product has to be "carried" into the state by the person using it. Taxed 95% on the WHOLESALE price. So........is the first $50 exempt? If I buy liquid for my husband and myself that totals over $50, but only paid by me, do I owe taxes????? How the heck do I determine the wholesale price? Is buying online the equivalent to "carrying " the product into the state? Help, anyone?
