Mosfet question

Okay I don't have any 3034's left and didn't realize it till almost done with a box. Internet is down and having to use my phone.

Does anyone know if an IRFP054 will work.

3034. P054
343 A. 72 A
40 v. 55 v
20 v. 20 v
375 w. 130 w
1.4 mohms. 12 mohms

Seeing as how I don't build below .3, seems like it would work. I'm just not sure if the resistance will mess me up. I have 3 of these and absolutely no idea where they came from, lol.

When hot that mosfet goes up to about 21 mohms. That will let you pass about 12A continuous through it before its reaches max temperature. You'll be above 12A a lot with a 0.3 ohm build but since you're pulsing it's probably ok. You could double up on the mosfets if you notice that one is getting very hot.

Thank you , I'll double up and try them. I would order some 3034 but just don't need enough stuff yet, lol.
