hi all
i was one of the winners of the Luggy contest here on ecf

And it arrived today :)

in the mail asking for our shipping info movkin stated that they would be sending color and sizes randomly, i figured it wouldent hurt and asked if it could be a big black one.

and i got ... a big black one, tnx Nancy from Movkin :)

this is not going to be a review jet, i just got it want to play around with it a bit first. but i will post some unboxing pics now and do a more detailed review later.

its nice strong box and good that it is, becouse they sent it to me in a padded envelope, but it didn't suffer more than wat you can see at the corners.

level 2 the rebuildable deck, a .2 ni coil, usb cable, bag of goodies (spare set of o-rings, a sillicone washer that is used as the top fill seal, a verry small allen key and 2 coils for the deck) and some cotton.

in between the booklets tank and mod and a large sticker set to customise the luggy

the rebuidable deck is of a design i hadn't seen before positive wire straight down negative straight up basicly as you see in the prebuild coils. it should make for some interesting vertical coil builds, and i am hoping that not having to fiddle with the negative leg will make wicking this easyer.

now lets present the luggy

i asked for a big one, and yes its BIG
size comparison (topbox mini, cuboid w tfv4, luggy) it weighs less than the cuboid

edit window seems to have issues with copying images oh well

tank taking a bath, the left one (it did have a faint machine oil smell) threading is smooth

the drip tip has a spiral in it starting at the top airflow hole (i dont usually use top airflow so i dont know wat that will give)

this is how it looks with one of the coils in the goody bag
upload_2016-3-26_1-22-25.png

the coil in the goody bag are just over 3mm (top)
i made a 4mm 24ga kanthal a1 6? wraps

upload_2016-3-26_1-24-37.png

the short end of the included allen key seems to be about the width you need for the cotton
upload_2016-3-26_1-26-51.png

in fiddling i didnt take alot of pics :/
i usually use bacon cotton but this seemed like it was made for japanese cotton
but i took japanese cotton with the short leg of the key
length just twice around the coil
i removed 1 outer layer (its a bit to tight will remove both outer layers next time)

put negative leg of the coil in the hole and turn back and forth wile pushing the whole in
tidy up a bit:

upload_2016-3-26_1-30-14.png

you can use fatter wire, a twisted will fit clapton should fit i think
upload_2016-3-26_1-30-50.png

tighten posts
screw it back together
upload_2016-3-26_1-32-14.png

it reads 0.79
it vapes decently at 30W
but the cotton is to tight dont think it can take much more
ill probably redo it, taking both outer layers of

Is it a vertical coil?

yes it is

i don't see how you could do an horizontal one.
you have the up and down leads and 4 juice holes around
someone will probably manage but i'm not that good ;p

that being said i did a 4 mm but i'm guessing it could fit at least a 6mm coil

btw with my overstuffing the cotton it didn' leak during the night ;)

Nice pics/tutorial. They're now advertising the units as being capable of Ni/Ti/SS. Is that the case with the prize unit?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
ive only seen ni tc thats actually my biggest downpoint on it

here is the response bit of bummer but the ones for sale will have all 3

Hello Eric,

Thanks for your email.
The luggy sent out for the ECF winners does not have the TC ti and ni. And there is no way to upgrade.

But for these luggy we sell now, the TC Ti and SS included.

We are sorry about this.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. It would be nice to have the others but I use mostly NI anyway. Stainless can be run in power mode which I have been doing on another mod that doesn't have TC for stainless.
and titanium can be run in NI mode if you put it a lot hotter i beleave

Thanks for the overview @ufosnowcat
Just built the rda head and cleaned the tank. Didn't find machine oil but the silicone washer on the top cap is extremely smelly!!
Also, removed small metal shard left over from drilling and treading where the grub screws grab the wires so cleaned that out as well.
