My new threads don't show up in New Posts

So I have noticed that when I start a new thread it doesn't show up when I go to new posts. I started one a half hour ago, and it's still not showing up. I have checked several times and it's just not showing up in New Posts. Why is that?

No, they won't until someone replies.

Correct. When you post a new thread and immediately go to "New Posts" it's not going to show as it's not really a new post (you've already read it). Once someone replies to it, it will then show.

Ah! I hadn't realized that, but now it's showing up in new posts with no replies, which I take to mean someone did that for me to be nice
