I have to say I have a kabuki clone and it is my favorite tank for factory aspire coils. I still like a couple of my rtas over the Kabuki for flavor, but it was a great little FT buy for me.

You are welcome. Good idea to keep the SubTank just in case. One other thing you might try is to get some of the Clapton MTL coils for your Nautilus Mini. I've heard ECF folks who say it's a major improvement over the regular Nauti Mini coils. I haven't tried them yet, but I definitely want to try them.
I am so glad to hear you like the Kabuki clone. I've been blown away by what great flavor the regular Kabuki delivers! I plan to order a clone soon.

I think those can be used in the Nautilus & Nautilus Mini, not the Nautilus X.
Yup. Those will not fit a Nautilus X. the X uses a combination coil/chimney construction. The coil is integral to that piece, and you cannot screw any other type of coil onto it. Those Claptons will fit a Nautilus, Nautilus mini, or a Triton mini only (well, and a Kabuki). Nauti X only specific coils will not fit any other tank at this time.
Edit: The Triton mini comes with one Clapton as well, so you should be all set for that tank with replacement coils (assuming you like the Claptons).

Got the Nautilus X tank about a week ago. My one major complaint is I have gone thru about 4 coils already and fluid is turning dark brown in the tank. I prime the coils good and am not chain hitting. Have the tank running on a evic VT at 15-16 watts
I cooked my first coil from not giving it enough of a prime but the second one has lasted. With the U-Tech design it requires being primed really well and doing many no power pulls to get the liquid moving.
Do that every time... still have issues with my coils consistently. Never had this many problems with my Atlantis
I have Nautilus Mini and Atlantis and the X. The Atlantis V2 is a disappointment but still trying to achieve that perfect or as close ot perfect vape from it. Still have many more coils to try in it though!
Are these authentic Aspire coils? I have heard from others that clone or fakes were 100% failure rate.
I was having the very same issue with my Nautilus X at first and was really not digging it at all with the 1.5 coils. I was about ready to give up on it. Love my nautilus mini's and triton mini's still so I was just going to stick with them. Then I saw a post on another part of the forum and someone mentioned people were having way better luck with the newer 1.8ohm nautilus X coils. So I bought a 5 pack and I have to say the 1.8 coils for me are WAY better. Better flavor and I actually enjoy this MTL tank now. I found them on discount spots.com and vaporhq.com. Might give those a try and see if you like the flavor and performance better if you haven't liked the 1.5 coils

I think I must have read the same thing about the 1.8 coils you read. I am so happy to hear this. I'll order the 1.8 coils. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my lord. Ok one more time and then I give up and I'm going to bed. Lol. Discountvapers.com with an e not an o. I found the shipping on the vaporhq website to be super fast for the flat rate. Ordered them last Monday and got them on Wednesday.
I ordered Nautilus X coils last night but the place I ordered them from did not have an option for 1.8Ω coils but I have found that the N-X coils work a lot better after a really long soaking. Can't rush the priming like with a Mini BVC.
A lot of my usual places do not have them. I only found them at discountvapers.com and vaporhq.com so far. I'm sure there may be others but I ordered from vaporhq and they have super fast shipping. I really gave my 1.5's a good try. I had my blueberry vanilla custard soaking and used that coil set up for almost a month and with two other flavors and still no good. The 1.8's were noticeably better for me almost immediately. I thought it was strange but oh well. Glad something worked out so the tank worked better for me
