need advice singapore customs pls

Hi

Am in a real pinch as I haven't smoked real cigarettes in 4 years now, and will be in Singapore for 3 weeks for my first time.

Are there body checks or metal detectors when you arrive at Changi airport and go through customs?? I understand they x ray both hand & check-in luggage.

Hoping anyone can help with my question

I'm just gonna take opportunity and quit smoking altogether. As ridiculous as this law is, I don't want to get in trouble.
