My original mini. I was told it was one of the early runs because of the mill marks left on the body, later ones had better surface finishes....

Might be time to send it in for new connector and internals....

I have a Grand and a 14500 mini. That way I have lot's of battery when I need it and something very small and portable if I need that. The Mini 2.1 is only shorter not as much of a size difference so not as portable. I don't think I would want a 14500 as my only mod the battery life is just too short. To go with a Grand I like the 14500.

The 14500 battery is too small for me. when I'm on the road wearing a suit doing multiple customer visits a day I use the Mini 2.1 and need to carry two to make it through a day. They are small enough to fit any suit coat or pants pocket.

Sometimes I get fancy and carry a Woodvil 18490 and a Mini 2.1.

I used to have to hide my vaping at work and used a tube mod in 18350 mode. I got very efficient in my vaping, but I still have to carry an extra battery or two with a 14500. I like the fact that it is thin enough to carry in the front pocket of a pair of jeans. For me, a 2.1 wasn't much more convenient than a Grand. It's all going to come down to personal preference.

ok, was pretty sure my mini was the 2.1 cuz it has nicely rounded edges.......but it is also not as wide as my grand. Same thickness though. So is it a 2.1 or 2.0? Any way to tell for certain?

So if you could only have one, which would you get? Would you get the LP mini 2.1 or the new upcoming 14500? I know I want a mini but I'm not sure which one and I can only get one!

I like my Grands big and my minis small. The 18490 mini - to me - is neither. It's an 'odd' combination of not 18650 battery life combined with the limitations of a 3 ml bottle. If I'm going to accept the limitation of the 3 ml bottle I would rather have the slimmer profile of the 14500 mini.

And this is all in context now of AW having a new 650 mAh 9 amp 14500 battery out there. It will be interesting to see both the run times on the new AW and what people do with the available lower ohm limit. That battery sure takes a lot of limits off the 14500 mini.

So... 14500 mini for me. :2c:

The catch cup diameter on the 2.1 is the same as the Grand. The diameter is smaller on the 2.0, more like the 14500. Other than that they are the same.

thanks, saved this post for next time I take this atty off. I've gotten it off twice now and put back on with NO leaking!! Dunno what stopped it, but am afraid to press my luck!!! lol

Hmmm...

flipflipflipflip... Here ya go ~> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/161169-reo-measurements-parts-terminology.html

Assuming that information was confirmed, the ID diameter of the catch cups:

14500 mini - 13 mm
2.0 mini - 13.9 mm
2.1 mini - 15.24 mm

The catch cup ID of the 2.1 mini isn't exactly the same as on Grands

I wish that page was opened up again and info added for the LP models and the upcoming Woodvils with the new connector. Also wish dimensions were also in metric, as when you are looking for attys I don't think I have ever seen one that wasn't listed with metric only dimensions.
