New Member requesting help with Cool Fire 4 not charging

Hi...My Cool Fire IV is not charging. When I first plug it in, there is a green light which shuts off within seconds. It seems that the unit is malfunctioning since it's never been hard to charge before. Has anyone experienced this and had the unit function again?

Sounds to me like a faulty unit. Can you return it to where you bought it from? How long have you had it?

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I bought it on Amazon, so unsure if I can return it or not. I've only had it a few months. Should've bought it at the local vape shop...bummer. Thanks for the response.

BTW, I should be able to just plug it in and place the button on the bottom on 'off', right?

Yes you should be able to do that. You could try leaving the button on the bottom
to 'on' and see what happens, but I've charged those with the switch to 'off' with
no issues.

My wife had trouble with hers too, nothing extreme, just annoyances with the charging similar to what you're saying (a few plugin-out and it kicks back to working), the life of the battery not being all that great after just a few months, and the store we got it from mentioned that he's heard of issues with them.

I have had luck in the past by giving the plug (male) portion, a very light coat of dielectric grease which can promote electrical conductivity. Auto parts store carries it.

Hi and welcome. Also try cleaning the socket on the mod.
