Hello

Pretty new to vaping and the forum.

Can someone please answer a question for me?
I'm trying to figure out why my mods are showing me the wrong amp draw on my batteries.
For example: I know that I=p/v so lets say 100watts / 7.4 = 13.51 /.90 = 15.01amp draw on my two LG 18650@20amp batteries but my mod says i'm using 24.6 amps??
This has really been confusing me and i can't get a straight answer...
One person told me it's because the regulator in my Reuleaux rx2/3 is very ineffective and someone else says it is the draw at the coils and is not draw on my batteries.
Any help would be EXTREMELY helpful!

Happy to have found this site.

Probably shouldn't have posted that question in this section, sorry.

It is likely just showing the amps at the coil, not the battery. For example, if you are using 100 watts on a .3 ohm coil, the coil is getting about 5.5v at around 18.2 amps. If your batteries are sitting at 7.4v in series, it is drawing 7.4v at about 13.5 amps(not accounting for inefficiency).
