First off dump the efest batteries for Sony, LG, or Samsung. Efest batteries Lues about their amp level. That is tge Pulse rating not the real rating.

Hi tac_driver. Welcome to the ECF.

A couple of things I think you will find if you Try to go with that Build.

One is I don't think a 20 Wrap Coil is going to Fit into many RTA's. Or Fit into just about Anything. And you might find that the Ramp-Up Time is going to be Very Slow if you drive Dual 26ga/32ga Claptons with 3.7v/9.13w.

If you are New to Building Coils, I would suggest starting off doing Single Wire Builds. You might also consider Lowering you Total Ohms a little. Maybe something like 1.2 or 1.0 Ohms.

Because as you probable know, with a Dual Coil Build, the Total Ohms is 1/2 of the Ohms of Each of the Coils. So to get 1.5 Total Ohms, you need Two 3.0 Ohms Coils. And that can be Hard to do without using Very Thin Wire. Or using a Lot of Wraps.

i have the coil master 521 tab and love it, from what i understand, other than name they are pretty much the same device. they are worth the investment for whichever you get.

TB is right about the batteries, efest are garbage and untrustworthy, what they say they are cannot be believed as they are batteries taken and wrapped again with what they claim(proven false many times)
i don't know how much of that wire you got... but i would replace it with a 28g wire, i would suggest SS316L as you can use it in both wattage or TC mode. as Z said you're not going to be able to fit the lower gauge wire in with that many wraps.

Thanks for the quick replies
I didn't know that about the Efest batteries
this was very helpful
-------------------------
I also have a pair of sony
Sony VTC5 2600mAh 30A 18650 Batteries
------------------------------------
yes i agree it was unrealistic with the wire i have
to make a dual coil build
----------------------------------
but a single coil build is very doable
found a great youtube video using my atty

----------------------------------
Coil wrapping
A 1.0 Ohm coil with 26AWG, 3mm diameter
comes to 7 wraps at 89 mW/mm²
which is still a relatively cool vape and should produce good flavor
-----------------------------------
just getting started building my own coils
and have yet to make my first one (still in
the research stage of developement)
the links and information that you provided
are very much appreciated.

With a regulated mod the resistance of the coil doesn't really matter. And rather than ohms law you'll use watts law to calculate the amps:

Watts / mod cutoff voltage (use 3.2v) = amps

With 20 amp batteries (for example LG hg2, Samsung 30q) you shouldn't exceed 60w.

I'd recommend plain 26 or 28 gauge ss316 wire to begin, though the Engine will handle Clapton wire fine. Claptons require quite a lot of wattage and with a single-battery mod you'll have poor battery life. And as said, ditch the Efest batteries and get authentic high drain batteries by Samsung, Sony, or LG from a trusted vendor.
