I'm a bit different than a lot of vapers. I haven't touched a cig in 15 years but just started vaping 0 mg just for flavor. vaping hi VG 80/20, .3 ohms at 30 watts but am getting sore throat; gotta take a few days off. Hope it gets better.

Might want to read: ECF Sub-Ohm Advisory
I vape a 2.0 ohms/5 watts,70/30 with zero nic. No sore throat. I think you may be frying your juice. Suggest Magma RDA for flavor vaping. No clouds to speak of but great flavor.

I can feel a sensation at the back of my throat and I thought that was the nicotine I've also noticed it when I tried my pipe, maybe its the hot air. .3 ohms at 30 watts sounds high to me, I'm at .22 ohms at 15 to 20 watts.
