A few years back some of the modding folks were experimenting with Ni foam as a wicking medium.

I still had a piece & got an idea to cut it into thin strips and fashioned it into a coil for use in a temperature control mod. This stuff has a huge surface area and should work just like ni200 in terms of temperature coefficient. Here it is mounted on my Nebox rta platform.

It came out just over 0.1 ohm and so far it vapes great at 30W with a temp limit of 190℃.

Cool!! How are you wicking this?

After searching it, I also found some SS Foam (Though one sheet costs something like $500+ on this particular siteo_O - Stainless Steel Foam: SS316 1mm Thick x 250mm W x 250 mm L, SF-316-250-1) . Wonder if that could work the same... always keepin an eye out for new coil maerial. I'm lookin forward to getting some tungsten wire!
