Hope everything was ok at your house, Hitt. It's scary when a storm is bad enough that you actually have to go to a safe place.

We were fine but within a couple miles there were splintered trees and ones torn out of the ground. I could barely see while driving home from work.

It wasn't raining when I left work and only started when I was about five miles from home. However, it was coming down so hard that the highway was at a crawl and I could barely see even with my wipers running as fast as they would go.

I got home and found out there was a shooting a couple miles from here and they haven't caught the guy yet. From what I understand he was 20 or 21 and was interested in an underage girl or perhaps had already dated her. Anyway he shot the mom and the girl. I hope they catch him soon.
