I haven't used a pre-built coil in a long time. Once I found out how easy it is to build my own coils (especially with the Subtank), I haven't felt the need to shell out my money for the pre-built variety. Plus, I think building your own makes for a better vape. I use cotton bacon for wicking material.

I build a few of my own, cotton bacon for wicking. SS, NI & kanthal in varying gauges but mostly been using Vaporesso Target tanks with the nickel coils
