I just got an ohm meter from a local vape shop. It looks like one of them meters from coil master...
The resistance meter works perfectly, but the voltage meter doesnt work. I screwed ny mod (Subzero Shorty) pushed the button but nothing happened. I tried to open the switch of my mod and pushed from there and my battery got shorted..

Any solutions?

I can provide pictures for more information...

I vote for a defective device. If it reads resistance and doesn't read voltage it's bad. The same contact is used for both readings. It also depends on the Pulse Width Modulation frequency of your mod.

Some of the old 510 voltmeters won't read voltage on the older VV devices that used the 33hz/66hz buck/boost circuits. They would flash all 8's when you hit the fire button, but on an 800hz Provari the voltage would read fine.

ETA: didn't realize it was a mech.
Since it's a mech, it should read voltage just fine. Here's a rather in-depth review.
