So a shopping cart would not decline one CC and accept another one. I have never seen that. Ever.
This happened to me with two virtual card numbers over at ecigx last month.
I had two numbers since I planned to make purchases from two vendors.
The first number was declined at ecigx where the other was approved.
Then I went to another vendor where the first number which had been declined at ecigx
was approved with no issues.
When I called the cc company to inquire what the glitch had been they were clueless.

So a shopping cart would not decline one CC and accept another one. I have never seen that. Ever. The whole point of getting a gateway CC processor if you sell wine, pipes, cigars, ecigs, etc. is to have a seamless checkout process with a company who allows people to buy what you're selling.

That's the theory. For whatever reasons, over the past 30 days or so, I've had this happen multiple times, with different vendors. RTD Vapor in particular rejected 2 of my cards (which are fine, work perfectly well, and have not been compromised), and a 3rd worked without issue. When I contacted customer support they stated that perhaps my address did not match the billing address. Sorry, that's just wrong, they all match, and they all work elsewhere. I was not sufficiently interested to pursue it further because who has time to stay on hold with multiple banks. I just know they all work fine elsewhere. [shrug]

Hey Alien. So, you have mods and tanks that are so-so? Don't you want to get at least 3 that have been proven to be truly reliable? Same with your tanks.

I've spent nearly $3,000.00 on all authentic (not all of the mechs) duplicate mods, duplicate tanks, RDA's, at least 5pks of replacement coils per tank, 2,500 premade kanthol coils, 100 premade twisted kanthal coils (going to order about another 200-400 different designed clapton), 800ft of wire, a lb of cotton, 27 18650s (all married except for the ones for the single mods), and just under 5,000ml of different juice. Not to mention the liters of DIY I will be ordering tonight. I also have all kinds of tools and a backup set of the good ones.

I also bought some starter kits. I'm really liking the flavor and cloud production of the Kanger SubVod. I find it quite satisfying actually. I have the pink, just received a white one and I think I'll get another. You can DL that with open air flow and chuck a surprisingly good cloud with it. I'll MTL with a higher coil and restricted airflow. I'm trying to go with while, it will look like an analog if I'm out in the smoking section of a restaurant or bar. (Gawd. I haven't been to a bar in years)

If I like what I see in reviews, I buy it. There is no price on saving my life. I refuse to go back to another 45 years of smoking with COPD - if I live that long.

It's been about 45 days since I've logged in. A lot has happened in that time.
I finally took inventory of everything I have, ALL bases, concentrates, amber growlers and smaller amber, lab equipment, all hardware, tools, wire, batteries, replacement coils, current eliquid in mass quantity, etc. The initial sum of $3,000 was WAY off. It's far more than double that. I have duplicates, in some cased five of each mod, tank, RBA, RTA, RDTA and RDA's. And, I've been purchasing for my father and some liquids for my sister, still in denial about the regs. She comes to my home and browses as though it's a shop. Kinda is! lol Dad is starting to get the drift of it. That's another reason I purchased a lot of nic. I'll wind up making flavors for them down the road but I still have much more than I'll need. And I'm going to certainly charge for it! I have a friend who may or may not gear up. She's been in the hospital for 5 weeks with a severely broken ankle and the 3rd surgery to go.

So, there you have it. I've hoarded terribly. But when/if the well runs dry, ...well.

Nice to see you all again.

It keeps looking like we have time. I don't see a move to tax nic. I don't see the Chinese slowing down on introducing new models, and all the while discounting heavily of "stale" product even if it has a DNA chip. It appears that obtaining US made RTA's, RDA's and mods that existed prior to 8/8 also seems to go on unabated.

That said, I have enough RDA's to last. I don't see wick or wire being an issue, but I have plenty anyway. The wild card still seems to be the nic. So on a hoarding level, I have enough nic to make 115 gallons of my preferred 3mg, or 20 gallons of 6mg for "those times" and 65 gallons of 3mg? Whatever, it's enough, and I may add another liter of :censored: nicotine just to drive the stake home. That would take me to 200 gallons of 3mg, or 30gals @6mg and 140 at 3mg.

Either way, it's going to be over 10,000 60ml bottles. Pretty sure I will make it, and be able to bring a few along with me.

You have 13L of nic? That might be an ECF record!

Lol.. not by a long shot. I'm certain there are some that are poised to continue "retail" of high quality juices long after the last B&M has closed their doors, and Tobacco rules the landscape with non-refillable carts of low quality.

And I don't have 13L of nic, assuming you mean 100mg/ml. I have 3 liters of 100mg nic, and a liter a bit stronger.

Cant mention the actual strength, but I have over 5,000,000mg of nic.

I've always been curious about how many million mgs of nicotine has been sold since the deeming regs dropped. I would bet it's an absolutely astounding amount.

That's enough to make 100 liters of 3mg, not 100 gallons. A US gallon is 3.78 liters.

BTW: You folks who vape "light" (6mg) or "ultra light" (3mg) have it easy. ;)

I expect most all US nic vendors saw a jump in sales during June and July and are seeing a massive drop in sales after 8/8.

I don't doubt it. I know there is a post somewhere on the forum from the owner of RTS stating that his business has fallen drastically due to shops closing up. :(

I started at 6 and went down to 3 shortly after but I only smoked half PAD on average. I didn't drop from 3 after I started sub ohm but the last 2 bottles I mixed up yesterday I decided to try cutting it down to 2mg to see how it goes as it will make my 20 year supply of nic last 10 years more.

I wonder how much Operation Choke Point has to do with all the credit card problems we've been experiencing.

    From wikipedia (footnotes omitted):

This operation, disclosed in an August 2013 Wall Street Journal story, has been accused of bypassing due process; the government is pressuring the financial industry to cut off the companies' access to banking services, without first having shown that the targeted companies are violating the law. As reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, critics say, "it's a thinly veiled ideological attack on industries the Obama administration doesn't like, such as gun sellers and coal producers."

    . . .

Some merchant categories that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) had listed until July 2014 as being associated with high-risk activity include (until the FDIC revised the original policy in July 2014):

    Ammunition Sales
    Cable Box De-scramblers
    Coin Dealers
    Credit Card Schemes
    Credit Repair Services
    Dating Services
    Debt Consolidation Scams
    Drug Paraphernalia
    Escort Services
    Firearms Sales
    Fireworks Sales
    Get Rich Products
    Government Grants
    Home-Based Charities
    Life-Time Guarantees
    Life-Time Memberships
    Lottery Sales
    Mailing Lists/Personal Info
    Money Transfer Networks
    On-line Gambling
    Pawn Shops
    Payday Loans
    Pharmaceutical Sales
    Ponzi Schemes
    Pornography
    Pyramid-Type Sales
    Racist Materials
    Surveillance Equipment
    Telemarketing
    Tobacco Sales
    Travel Clubs

My math is right. Add 20 more liters of 100mg, or whatever I decide to thin 2 liters of "censored" down to. :)

@LouisLeBeau My equipment will need to go somewhere as well. Good thing things can freeze and be refrigerated. But, I'm currently at 18-20nic. By the time I dig in to DIY I should be down in nic quite a bit. Who knows. I may just quit! I think however with what I have, it will last me the drought. I also have a hoard of hardware. My home office looks like a store. Cheers!:toast:
