... the anti-smoking lobby alongside the World Health Organization are still not happy. Suddenly a method that looks like it really might work and help smokers quit the smoking of lethal carcinogenics could be put to bed if the anti-vaping brigade get its way.
Figures and studies have suggested that smokers that swap the weed for an e-cigarette are far more likely to give up than those who opt for nicotine patches. Leading health experts have cried: "go ahead and vape" and even those who "smoke" an e-cigarette in a pub, club and restaurant are surprising non-smokers standing nearby who often express surprise that the vapour is without aroma or taste.
Nicotine patches were never going to work because they do not address the real addiction that cigarette smokers have — smoking a cigarette and doing something with your hands. In other words, the addiction is not just the nicotine but the act of having a crafty puff.
