Pharaoh dripper tank issue: muted flavor

I just received my dripper tank today. And I have followed rip trippers method for wicking but, the flavor seems muted. Do I need to keep the juice well lid fully opened or as rip trippers said to close it upto the cotton wick? I am using single staple staggered coil reading at .14 ohms.

The best coil I've found to work in mine for flavor is a spaced single wire ss 316L 8 wraps on 4.0mm id. Get the coil as close to the airflow without toching as you can.That RDA has been sitting on the shelf pretty much since I got it. I played with it alot. I don't care for it.

I'm smoking one right now and I've never experienced what you're describing. I've also never used a double coil on it. I consider it a monster single coil device. I ve got a 3.5mm .3 ohm 22/40 kanthal Clapton in it ATM which works great.

Addition info: I've got the coil at 2.5mm ID. Could that be an issue too? Do I need to put in larger diameter coil?

Shouldn't need to. I dunno why this is happening.

I have put in a new coil and wick. Same ss 316L 7 spaced wraps at .54 ohms 3.5mm id. Not much different ... I also noticed that if I ramp up wattage to 65+, it shows ohms too high error, don't know what's that coming up for. For flavor, can it be that I'm using vgod meteor ejuice? Which is a blend of tobacco caramel, fake ejuice?
