there was a time laptops were banned from air travel, i've posted the videos before, any battery can be an issue... people like to focus on the vaping aspect, forgetting the human factor as usual, and i've used that argument on a few. i practice battery safety, i don't abuse, store incorrectly, or over charge my batteries, and unlike a laptop i know exactly what batteries i am dealing with.

The FDA doesn't have that blanket authority and Rubenstein knows it.
Hes counting on the uneducated becoming triggered.
We used to learn how our government works in middle school. Not anymore.

Hopefully the results for this incident will be the same. Laptops have not been/continue to be villianized, (is that a word?) like e-cigs. But we live in "Crazy Town" so who knows...

In fact, FDA regulations (or ANY law) means nothing until challenged in court.
The court will always look at any precendent set by other similar cases.

Laws and regulations are not "Royal Decrees".
That's just not how our legislative process works.
