Thanks Mike !!! ... I was a pack and a half a day Marlboro Red smoker for just about 45 years. I've tried TC, subohm, etc etc, but just not for me. Tootle vaping a 1.8ohm Nautilus coil (mostly), 50/50 12-18mg non-flavored Nicotine River in a ProVari or Billet Box at about 8.4-8.6W is the sweet spot for me.

EDIT: Just noticed you and I are the same age. I turned 64 earlier this month.

I've got you by a few months. Been 64 since April. We're on much the same track, though. Smoked a pack and a half of Winston longs per day before stopping about 18 months ago. Also smoked for 45 years. Bought about six of the Provari 2.5 on special last summer. Man, it's hard to believe it's been that long.

Some of the 2.5s actually got down to $19.99 briefly before they shut the doors. Heck, I picked up my two ProVari Classics for $39 and $29. Good deals that will serve me well and last a long long time.

Seriously man, that Classic. The tint of the mod with that drip tip and the clear fluid in the glass... just killing me. I hate using tanks and never really wanted a ProVari, but for my tastes that really might be the most beautiful mod I've ever seen. I'm gettin' emotional here!

Thank you Victor !!! ... there's no one size fits all of course, but I can't see buying any other mods. The various ProVari and Billet Box mods take care of vape for me. Just getting into rebuilds to cover all the bases, whatever the future holds.

Nicotine River. Like that Nic Select is from actual tobacco and not synthetic(?) nic. I vape their 50/50 (PG/VG) either 12 or 18mg. Non-flavored ... why it's clear. I vape 1.8ohms Nautilus coils currently (mostly in Kabuki tanks ... or use a Nautilus bridge for it in the Billet Boxes) @ 8.4-8.6W ... but will vary on occasion 7.9-9.6W.

Nude Nicotine is very good too. Maybe some of the purest out there, but MUCH more expensive than Nicotine River last time I checked and I just like that Nicotine River has the very subtlest of tastes (almost as pure as Nude Nicotine) ... but those are the only two I've tried.

If I were into flavors and DIY (like I tried back, for a brief period), I'd prolly give Nude Nicotine a try again, just for the purity factor.
