Washington State has terrible high cigarette prices. The sin tax here is unbelievable!! vaping will save us $300 a month. Well, that is if I quit spending ..... tons of money on juice and new tanks. Sigh.

Marlboro Smooths went up to 5.00 a pack here in Cleveland back in 2011. It actually worked out kind of well. I was SO ...... about paying with a Lincoln for one pack of cigarettes (and getting no change back!! that one day, I asked for a disposable menthol Blu instead and the journey began..

When I left NZ, I was paying 14.85. I hear they have gone up a lot since then. I think that is why a lot of people I worked with rolled their own. I was not any good at that.

$11 or so in Vegas. Wife was 2 packs a day at the time and closer to 3 packs while on vacation. I was about half a pack a day but about a pack on vacation. We didn't pack a stash because we were naïve to the price (it's about $5.50 locally). I think I lost more on smokes than I lost gambling.

I heard belmonts are now up to $14.xx at gas stations here in Ontario!!!!

When I quit in March I was paying $13.xx at gas stations for a pack of 25 king size

I actually paid $8.00 for a pack from a machine in a bar. And heck...that was 5 or 6 years ago!! EEEEEEK.

I used to occasionally buy packs of Djarum Blacks, which are clove little cigars, and it usually cost me around five and a half bucks for a pack of 12.
Usually though it was Menthol Talons, $1.70 a pack.

The most I ever paid was $8.39 so then i switched to a cheaper brand. It was still over $5.00 a pack but better then then the $8.00

I paid $14 for a pack of Newports once in 2010 in New York. This wasnt even in NYC where there is a city tax added on top of the state tax. Total ripoff since most other places in NY state charged $9-10. It was at a supermarket in Pound Ridge. I was so desperate and addicted I didnt feel like wasting time and gas going to someplace else.
