Problem with Smok AL85

First of all, hi guys! I'm new here. I've been browsing around and seems that this Forum could provide helpful solutions when it comes to e-cigar. By the way I'm a new e-smoker too. Just started few days ago.

My first set up is a smok AL85 mod with Serpent Sub Atomizer. Simple set up I think and enough for a beginner.

But here's the problem. One day my mod just wont turn on. I tried pressing it 5 tiMes, connect it to USB and nothing seems to happened. My battery is full, I just charged it. I tried to borrow my friend's mod to test my battery in case, but no problem my friend's mod turned on just fine.

Is there anybody experiencing the same problem? Anyone could provide explanation or help?

Have you tried the 5 clicks a few different ways? Unless they're faster enough, but still distinct, it might not turn right on. Also, are you sure you're not in stealth mode with the screen blanked out/ In other words, even though the screen is blank the mod fires the tank?

Ok I don't have the AL85 what I do have is its big brother the ALien 220. For mine you have to do the 5 clicks in sets of 2. So 2-2-1

Welcome and glad you joined. Might want to notify your seller in order to establish time/date of failure. If it is ok now, might not be after warranty period.

I'm having the same problem with my AL85 & it's driving me crazy, idk what to do. I can't find my receipt & they didn't fill out my warranty card when I bought it. What can I do???
Tried updating firmware I got from someone who received it from Smoktech after bricking theirs but pc won't register it when plugged into USB

Unfortunately I have been reading more and more complaints about Smok's mods lately either shutting down completely or with screens that won't work. I returned a G320 to them after only 20 hours from initial turn on because of a dead screen.
