I watched a video on how to twist coils, and twisted some 28 awg SS316L beekeepers wire and made some coils. By the time I finished the dual coil build, my ohm meter read it as .33 ohms. Not getting thick clouds at 450 F. and 50 watts. I may go back to Kanthal as the vape was very thick in wattage mode. I've also got titanium wire, I may try that.

Also, it seems to want to switch to wattage mode, not sure why.

To vape on TC its not just temp you adjust , You also need to adjust the wattage too which is usually a few button combos to switch between the temp adjusting in F or C then lock device an hold +an - down then adjust wattage too , , like i said a page or so back it takes a bit of adjustment to find what is right power an temp for each build and atty, but you can adjust both ,
Id personally
hold off on fancy builds an such until you have better understanding
An been able to fine tune your mod its settings an the correct TC an watts for s basic build its ok people throwing out suggestions when they know what tbey are doing , When you are struggling to know basic functions which are different Combos on each mods chip ??

Stick to the basics, Learn a little more give it more time or your just complicating things further, once you have been able to find the best settings for a plain SS build then you can think of others later

I went back to basic Kanthal coils on wattage mode. The vape is nice and thick, and no burned cotton taste on 50 watts. I wanted to try TC on this device, but I've never had much luck with SS.

These are 3mm id spaced basic SS 316L works great in TC , there 5 wrap up to 9 , using them as single coils in a Taifun gt v3 an Kayfun v5 , both for SS an TC , on VT 75 dna mods range from 0.42 up 0.73 Ohms , for tc its mod dependent usually around 0.05 up to 1.0 Ohm fpr tc to work best 0.50 is a good place to be , and space them out a little

On dna Vt 75mod Taifun gtv3 5ml
I have at 24 w
1.0second ramp up
19-22 w 485f works flawlessly. 3mm id Spaced 316L SS 9 wraps 0.52 Ohms

On rx Taifun gtv3 mini authentic RTA , 0.52Ohm 22w quick pre heat pulls around 6amp dual LG brownies Hg2 cells last for days at this level

For Cloud vaping I use other tanks The ones above are just pure Flavour Profile tanks.

You have to build right for your tank an your mod . You can get decent clouds , Flavours an such from lower power if you build Correctly , an start with basics try to master that before going Crazy builds I have some simple builds that perform perfectly well as good as some crazy ones in the right tank an mod

The three mm internal diameter is not going to work with my tank, as the chamber has a small diameter and I would get a short when they touched the sides. I'm in the market for a nice, big dual coil RTA that I can get on a budget. I have my eye on this one...

KAOS BY EREBUS BLACK RTA 7ML TANK HUGE AIR FLOW 28MM USA SELLER FREE SHIPPING | eBay

It's a clone but looks like it might fit my needs.

The part about 24w was informative because I think I had it too high at 43 watts. That's probably why I was getting burned cotton.

Then you just wrap it to smaller Id i gone 3mm because my small 23mm rta can fit the single coil in there at 3mm , I was just showing them as examples of slighty spaced Coil builds for TC modes there better read better if there spaced builds

You can get some great low cost authentic RTA,s if you look about (not just ebay)

Im going to Order the Ijoy Exo 2ml an 6ml 26mm RTA next to try an play around with 2 decks dual coil an single coil want it for single coil.
mike vapes has a review on it up on YouTube. At 20£ they are from Gearbest ,
Google play an download Android app (Gearbest) an search. -= RTA - theres a lot an 50% cheaper than anywhere else

Same with searching.
(= Mod. ) Too lots of good priced Mods <get a lot more gear for your money that way.

The billow v3 plus is a decent tank I like mine fits bigger builds jfc top fill very nice sturdy built tank best billow out i think .

Or there is plenty of others on there Including the 30mm supreme plus RDTA which i own 3 of along with a 30mm mod Farther an 3 decks , and the 28mm Sherman RTA ,
I'd recommend the Supreme 25mm or Lyte though both are spot on for Flavours ,
25 mm limited edition is on sale 50% cheaper than any where else, I have a few that i use daily . Or coppervapes clones of the Taifun gtv3 there really great RTA,s 10£ each good for low power single coils MTL or wide open dual purpose

postless deck is great along with velocity deck , you can build vertical or horizontal on that velocity deck well , with juice flow control thats one of the best built tanks

Practice practice practice.

Get a second of your favorite atty... use that to experiment with.. That way you never have to ruin a good build. And you also have an apple to apple sample for comparison.

Thats what the rest of us do Ive several Taifun gtv3 rta,s for testing purposes for
Flavours ,

I can put same build same wicking in each an try my new mixes side by side for comparison , it helps when its a very nice RTA for Flavours.

Its much easier to unscrew an atty an place a new one on each mod
Than having to keep rewicking the same one over an over .
Im getting some good vape clouds,
good thick flavourful vape when fully opened up , An the coil is raised a bit for less restrictive draw at 20w on TC ,

These little tanks an builds are amazing especially if picking up the Coppervapes clones at 10£ each from Gearbest or others
4 of these for testing more on way.
Compared to one popular authentic RTA cost wise.
It's a no brainier for juice Testing purpose,
Since I do mix up quite a bit of variations of each mix.

Constantly changing the Flavours tryin to find the right mixes. Can be time consuming this helps,[emoji106]

I tried TC on both my eleaf mods and they just don't work right so I went back to kanthal.
I tried several types of TC wire and had to constantly readjust settings and TC can cause liquids to flame up if cap is off atomizer.
I had TC set to lowest temp and the e-liquid flamed up several times.
Ill try updating my software but I came to conclusion TC is just marketing hype.
I find by changing wire and coil size I can control temperature better using kanthal.
