Protank 2 problem, no airflow, cant figure it out.

I've been researching this airflow controller. The one I bought like the picture above is all smooth and cost a few bucks. Other ones I've found has ribs on the adjustment ring for about 5 bucks. I found that the smooth one has no breathing holes which the ribbed has air holes.

Have you tried the Hippo cap yet? I'm sure this will fix the airflow issue you may be having. Flat cap for the Provari, stylish and has airflow in the cap..
