Provari 18650 ext. cap and neodymiuim magnets question

I know you can use a neo mag to add the nipple onto a battery in a mech, but is it safe to do so in a provari or any vv mod for that matter. I would think so since its not something with stored memory that should be wiped, or like a crt television with particles that are affected. Dunno, wanna make sure. Anyone wanna chime in?

I have heard it may mess up the provari a bit but not sure.

but the real problem is if you drop it or something and that magnet shifts and makes contact with the tube. instant short and that is the main reason it shouldnt be done in a mod. do so at your own risk.
