I might have to steal this for later use, lol.
Feel free

I didnt always have a hatred of tube mods

I became this way after a jarring experience when i was still a smoker looking to transition to vaping and one of the first tube mods i ever saw was a Vamo v5 (i think), what scarred me was this:

made me think of this

GElPTBl.jpg

and as quick as that i was in a full H R Puffinstuff flashback

Took me days to recover

I vowed to never trigger another episode by refusing to ever buy a tube mod

The loathing of the Provarinati came on separately, but fierce, after meeting just 2 people who own them...

Meanwhile my self loathing/trust circle post got a goodly amount of likes, not as many as my Hype Tank post here for those interested in purchasing a Hype Tank, please also consider my accompanying mod here , it gets 400w from a single hearing aid battery and is completely safe

You evil person.

I could NOT not watch it

The 70's were a wild scene, people used to do things like wear green corduroy pants with shirts with wide alternating horizontal bands of colours that should never have been within 3 metres of each other, oh the horror of alternate bands of brown, orange and green. The wide lapels. the string art on peoples walls.

And all this mere years after Neil walked on the moon.

They put a man on the moon, but they could not stop the colour choices of mankind

They were very vibrant and colourful times.

Many retinas would never recover, mine never have.

Im going to need therapy (again)

With five growing boys my parents were...frugal. Our TV sets were hand me downs from relatives that upgraded to the newfangled color sets, I didn't know that the Wizard of Oz was in color until I was about 17 years old and was watching it at some friends house while partying, that would have been about 1979 or thereabouts. Guess I was luckily spared much trauma from the broadcasts, But yeah, hideous clothing, corduroy, and paisleys, remember all them crazy paisley shirts back then :lol::lol:

Good Lord, that is some creepy stuff. That totally epitomizes crappy 70's kids shows for me. Wow.

I must have just missed that show agewise or maybe it was putting my parents into therapy and they blocked me from watching it.

I was more of an Uncle Bobby/Mr. Rogers/Captain Kangaroo/Electric Company/Sesame Street kinda guy, I guess.
