Thanks E and Thanks Ike !!! This gives me 1.7ohms (7 wraps 28ga) and that's close enough. But something doesn't "feel" right. That's a lot of wire on a Z Atty. Had to put 10W through it to get a somewhat delayed dry glow and the Procyon really didn't like that. Glad I have a Provari to keep me safe. Will see what I can get, but I'm thinking I'll have to use 29 or 30 gauge with fewer wraps to keep everything happy. We'll see ...

EDIT: Nope. Not the right set up. Might have to contact Zen~ and see what he recommends for a ceramic set up on the Z Atty. Gauge, wraps, etc

Seen that vid too ... nothing about ceramic
Thing is, nothing wrong with a mesh wick. Just a cleaner taste with ceramic and I suspect it would outlast mesh, so I wanted to try it.

That looks like 32ga. Couple of weeks ago, I tried 4-5wrap 32ga on ceramic (pretty much like the vid) and it gave me well over 2ohms ... about 2.5ohms if I remember correctly. I got it tight but not hot wrap tight. No details about resistance or wattage vaped at in that vid. I'd be interested. Thanks AstroTurf !!!

FWIW ... You'll likely need more 'watts' for a 'given coil's Ω's' on a ceramic wick compared to an SS mesh or cotton wick. The ceramic acts as a heat sink thus it'll take more power to bring the coil up to temperature. Same if using a really dense packed SS mesh wick. I forget what those thickly packed SS wicks were called, but it was a 'fad' for awhile to roll as much mesh as possible, as tightly as possible to fit in the atty wick hole.

(this is where my old 'sig' line came from. getting the coil to temp was the important part, not what watts or volts you were sending to it.)

Nick, it's a stand that came with an Innokin Endura T18 starter kit. It works with a Procyon but isn't ideal size. As you can see, it was made for a shorter, smaller diameter mod.
Thanks.
i might take this one from jwraps:
it's good for a radius and a 22mm tube,
i hope it's heavy enough.
but i'd still prefer a stand with an angle,it would be more comfortable for me.
