Question About Atty & Drip Shield

I'm just starting to drip and picked up a 510 LR Bridgeless Atty (short one), 510/510 Adapter, and a drip shield from Empire mods (using on a SMOKTech SID VV/VW). My question is...do I need to lubricate the O-rings on the Drip Shield with PG or anything? It scares me when I'm sliding it over because the O-rings seem like they're going to tear out of the groove when they're un-lubed. Just curious if a tiny tiny drop of pure PG just to ease the slide would create any problems?

always lube....

also use lube in above situation.

I use a small drip tip or tank-filling tool on top and just slide it on/over...no worries about damaging your rings.
