I messed up making this and used vanilla custard as a subtle background flavor and they don't mix well. Any ideas of how to salvage my 25mls left as it taste great, but the background taste of vanilla custard is off turning with the fruit strip. I'm thinking of maybe adding a sweetener drop into it (sucralose). I have sweet crème flavorings as well I could add. My base is 50/50 3mg nic. 4 drops of rainbow line fw, and 2drops capella vanilla custard. I just made it so should I let it steep first? I think 1 drop of my next background flavor. I might just cut it with 5ml more of my base.

Custards notoriously take a long while to come into their own. I would park this in a cupboard for a week (even two) then taste again. Park for an additional week or two if needed. If, after a month, or when the profile stops changing, you still aren't happy; THEN consider additions.
A lot of DIYers say that CAP Vanilla Custard can take as much as a month to bloom into its final profile.
