I tried to join this chatroom with the link provided by bornagainst but the page doesnt load and when I try and put in my information it says no such user found. Just wondered what I was doing wrong if anything?

Theres a known issue with this chat and some versions of IE.

When you load the page, it should ask you for a USERNAME and PASSWORD, then click REGISTER. That's only for first time users.

I have tried numerous times to register on the site, but when I get to the page to register all I see are 4 blank boxes, with no idea of what to enter into each box.

Can someone please tell me what to enter into each box on the registration page so that I can register?

You must be using IE. There are known issues as stated above. If you have Firefox or any other browser installed, try using that to see if it works.

I've spoken with a few people who do.

Just an FYI, having a second browser installed is a good idea anyhow, as these problems arent uncommon at times.

Okay, I installed Firefox and got registered. It shows that there are 2 other people there, but no one is talking. Guess I will stop back in there later.

I got IRC setup finally, so you can use web based IRC or an IRC client like mIRC or Trillian.

The web based irc client is located here. IRC WEB LOGIN

Please login and give some input as far as whether or not you can get around corporate firewalls etc...the IRC chat alleviates lag like the graphical chat has that alot of you are experiencing.

saw, I'm just seeing a chat engine with an add buddies option, not a chatroom, no way to find out. the irc link just disconnects, i could dig out my mouldering ircle i guess...

i signed up, etc, no problem in firefox and chrome 'cept i get "security problem" popup, and a nada. probly a firewall thing that i don't feel like foolibg with. i'm in undernet now via snak irc client, tried #v4l vapers but no such animal. except the room i just created. the irc client online should have a mirror in irc, ya? but dalnet, undernet, what? (i used to be an irc op but that was a long time ago.)

Not the irc - the buddy list- up top - click the 3 different colored text boxes - that'll open it up

i did, got security block, played with snak, created an undernet room in irc for fun, abandoned it, came back, all is well but nobody home.

now i will imbibe a liddle chivas...
