Making a switch spring out of resistance wire is really NOT a good idea.

Agreed!

Especially since a lot of mods use the spring as the negative connection.

I would contact Kontrabita Kustoms on their facebook page.

They might even offer to send you a spring for free.....if not Im sure it would be for a low cost.

As he also mentioned magnets, I assumed it was for a button spring. Didn't mean to ruffle feathers, guess I should have pointed that out.

edit to add: The switch spring in my Kato box (clone) has no battery contact with the switch spring. It's completely isolated from the battery.

No problem here, my feathers fell out years ago. I just didn't want to see someone install a "resistance" spring that could be part of the circuit. A hot coil in close proximity to the battery is never a good idea. :)

May need to ask them as suggested.
If you have exact size, you might find a match for magnets at least from FatDaddy.
Way at the bottom, there are magnets and switch upgrade parts for about 15 different mods...but not something as uncommon as your kntrabita...

Dose anyone know where I can get a replacement springs or magnet for the switch in my kontrabita kustoms signum 18650.
