Reply Problem

I just replied to a post. My response appeared as part of the text I was quoting, inside the quote box.

I tried to edit it and was unable to fix it. The text I was quoting appeared with a start quote marker at the beginning and an end quote marker at the end. But then at the end of my reply there was another end quote marker. I deleted that but it reappeared.

I noticed someone else had the same problem yesterday.

When something like this happens, the first thing you should do is clear your browser's cache and cookies, then sign in to ECF again.

OK. I figured out what was wrong.

At the end of the text I was replying to the end marker got messed up. Instead of "[/Quote]" it just had "Quote]".
the characters "[/" had got deleted. So the software tried to fix that by adding [/Quote] at the end of my reply.

Seems I accidentally deleted those 2 characters. I did delete the last paragraph of the post I was replying to, so I must have hit delete too many times.
