The U.S. Transportation Department announced on Wednesday it has banned the use of electronic cigarettes on commercial flights.

The rule applies to all scheduled flights by U.S. and foreign carriers involving transportation in, to and from the United States, the department said in a statement.

With all the idiots lately blowing up their battery's lately I think this might be for the best.

Less than a Dozen in Millions? Like any one of them Has Happened on a Plane!

Social LAW - BS LAWS to Satisfy the FEW in Control.

Airlines are not Qualified to make their own regulations. They only operate within the industry 24/7 and do not have enough experience.
Same as Bar owners not smart enough to decide on their preferred patrons.
