Ok i got some problem with res here. I got alpha ultramax with 2 mil res. At first i thought i get dry hit when the res is half full. Today i decided to use alpha exclusively. Filled it up, and used it as normal vaping, 4-5 drags, do some work, and drag some more, and i get dry hit after 1 and 1/2 hours. I use 3-4 mil a day and there's no way i vaped 1 mil already. So this time i decide to count how many drops it takes to fill. I put 10 drops and it's soking, wait couple minutes and put some more and at 4 drops it's not soaking and pooling on the coil. So that means i used about 1/2 mil of juice. 10 drops about 1/2 mil right? Give or take. Now when i got 2 mil tank, i expected to use 2 mil, not half mil. Even my carto last that long. And its not only me who's having a prolem, i got someone who pmed me that he's having same issue. So do we have bad res? How long does res last you before dry hit? How big is your res? Yeah i tried pulling without firing and its only good for 1 or 2 more drag.

Hmm, I don't think you have a bad RES. Try blowing into the atomizer after you fill it. This should push the fluid out into the RES. It also takes a few minutes for the RES to equalize after a chain-vape session.

Are you running at at 6v? Which atomizer?

I did it! Went to the Casino tonight and won! Came home and ordered my Ultra! I love my p10 and p16, but this res system sounds great. And I've liked the 14500 batteries in my Protege and Bartleby. Thanks for that interesting video. I was leaning toward the UltraMax, but after seeing the video I could see that it is too big for my hands. Can't wait to try out the Ultra. Looking forward to not having leaking juice all over the place!

I'm using 6v with the joy atty you guys sent out in a kit. I think these are 2.5 ohm? At first i used 3.2 ohm atty and switched to joy to see if it worked better. I wasnt chain vaping. The thing here is i was able to fill it up with 10 drops. The drops after that wasnt soaking. Yeah i blew onto it, wait 10 min. Etc... It's definietly full cuz it's guggling.

I found a technique that the RES seems to respond to. I found myself taking drags with primarily my mouth and not much lung. When I took slower, deeper fulls I got great results. I think taking long deep pulls help the liquid move down the RES. The liquid only comes out based upon how hard you are pulling it out. So shorter drags will pull the liquid from the bottom, what you vape then replace when you get the burnt taste. Try pulling a bit harder with your lungs to help the liquid at the top move down. Sorry, I'm not trying to tell you how to vape. I know you know. Just something that I found helped me get the rest of my liquid out. Actually I think N8T or someone mentioned it in a review or something, or in the manual? subconscious

What a way to come across the cash for an ultra. Nice going. I think you will be very happy with the ultra. Perfect size and performance for someone that doesn't need a monster mod. And don't even get me started on leaking, what a pain in the .... Never again will you have to deal with that with the ultra. Congrats on your purchase.

Cheers,
Tony

Hey I was thinking - should I post my review in the general e-cig review forum? Get more exposure? I'm quickly figuring out how to best use my Ultra. We work better and better every time I use it.

That would be most excellent. You atavanhalen and alldayvape are becoming my new best friends. We would really appreciate you going and doing that for us.
