Rewiring a Bolt

Hey guys,
Haven't been on here in ages but I have a noobish question.

I have a Smoktech Bolt I got for free forever ago that never work and I'm gonna try putting it back together after completely stripping it out a long time ago. so now of course I don't remember everything I took out.

so... positive battery to switch; out of switch to center post of 510 connector right?

then my question is the ground. the spring is attached to the body and the outer sleeve of the 510 connector is also touching the body... does that complete the circuit? or do i need to run a physical ground somewhere?
