Man, why didn't anyone tell me building duals was so fun!!!
the RM7 just opened up a new world to me and brought some attention to some atty's that have been underutilized

I've only built duals twice before and I thought it was terrible, thanks Russ for forcing me to the outside of the deck
and peaking my curiosity to revisit this.

I absolutely cannot bring this to work, it is like a burnout festival at nascar, way too much vapor for my stealth applications

The RM7 is super easy to build on, looks killer, and provides an excellent vape; even for newbs trying out low ohm big air A++
Rewicked with Rayon and rockin'

I know not an RM7, but it's a great build (for me)

Once you go duals it's tres hard to go back (at least to a simple TMC or the like).

Nice coil porn, element.

like my black friends used to tell me about girls back in the day - "once ya go black ya never go back". I think the same applies to dual coils :).

I'll add airflow to that analogy--now that I've tried airier draws, I don't think I'll go back to tighter draws.

Btw, thanks Russ--you turned me on to the Odin, which is really what showed me the light on dual coils & airflow.

Thank you brother. Word up on the air deal. You must get ya a V2 Odin man. It's got 50 more air than a V1 yet maintains the same form factor. If I had to choose between it and the rogue it would be tough. Thank god I don't have to chose. They are my favorite attys. It's available now too :) Here's a vid I made on it :)

Nice! Ya got ya a RM7 (rogue) yet? I can't imagine a more perfect atty for a Woodvil :)

Built my Rogue today for one of my new Woodvils. It looks and vapes great on the Woodie. Actually, any 22mm atty looks good on them. I have a Manta on the other one.

I had trouble with my new RM7 also. The center post screw was not trapping the wires. I found a replacement screw that was just a little longer. Problem solved, although not before I tried building it a half a dozen times and driving myself nuts.

Up until now I have tried a few dual coil rdas and really didn't care for any of them. I've got this wicked with 29g kantal, 9 wraps at 1.98mm dual coils ohming out at .85ohms. I am really liking this on my new wenge Woodvil.

I'm having some trouble with my new RM7....

How does this threading look to you guys? Looks wider near the center post end doesn't it?

These are clones aren't they? I wish I would have thought this through more, I've had lots of trouble with the threading on clones in the past.

Penny, I wouldn't attempt to screw that atty down into your Reo. Those threads are incorrect. I'd set it aside and notify Rob.

just FYI--I also had a little trouble screwing in my Odins. I think the new connection is just a little more finicky getting it started, but once it is, I had zero problems (didn't feel like I was forcing anything).

I also noticed that the 510 on my RM7's were tapered/beveled close to the base (just before the threads start). but the one in the pic looks like the whole 510 (even at the threads) is tapered. maybe you just got a bad one.
