Rookie mistake

Just curious how Operation Reverse Polarity went?

I ended up having to use a center punch and a BFH (big freaking hammer) and break them up until I could get them out with a small flathead screwdriver.

I tried drilling them out on a drill press with the vex sitting in a machinist vise but then it wanted to walk its way right off the magnet and into the aluminum. Good thing is they are out and new ones back in and mod is operational!

Yeah... Rare Earth Magnets can have a High Rockwell Hardness. Making drilling them Tough.

But with Hardness comes Brittleness. So it sounds like things tuned out Good.
