A query on those of you in the UK that get stuff from China that has tracking numbers - do your posties ask for a signature

When i receive a tracking number...yes always
When i have a small order without tracking number...No

Usually mine does ask, can't remember ever getting one unsigned for.

Quite often, there are a few small packages, all kept together with rubber bands when he sorts things for delivery ..and no, most times he doesn't fish out the China one to get a signature. So, I voted 'no' although it's not always.

I don't know how such things fit into statistical databases accessible by customs & excise - if they don't get signed for, are they slipping under the radar, and therefore to our advantage in the long run?

Hardly ever, it normally gets pushed through the letter box or if it's too big, left in secret hiding place (normally one of the recycling bins )
