S-Body Macro DNA75

This mod ticks all my boxes.. I like mid power small mods and currently using the Elfin DNA75.. now, s-body revived the Macro series with a DNA75 which I really love to get one.. A big plus on the removable 18650 compared to the built-in 18650 in the Elfin..

Anybody that has bought and use this mod, please share your experience...

Don't have the 75w but I do have the 40w version same box just different chip it is a small/compact out and about everywhere you go mod. The only difference is you will get an additional 35w of power. I use mine mainly as my out and about it is easy to pocket or conceal anywhere. You will be pleased once you get your hands on it.

How bout the paintworks? Does it chip easily?

Not easily at all but over time it does wear putting it in and out of pocket,purse,putting toppers on. The bottom will fade too from standing it up over time also. It does not chip away though.

Great to hear that.. i'm ok with colour fading over time, but hate chipped paint coz once it start to chip, it will never stopped peeling away..

Don't have the 75w either (just got the 40w version because I found it for $29), but the size and form factor is surprisingly small in the hand and very light. I put my pink 40w in a clear silicone skin, so there is that option to help the finish hold up. I don't have it long enough to judge how long the paint will last.

When my finances allow, I'd love to pick up the 75w version, as I didn't expect to like the feel of the Macro as much as I do.

I have one and love it. Light, comfy, and the buttons are perfect. The only negative for me is that the battery door can shift a little up/down if you put pressure on it. I put a thin strip of electrical tape in one of the rails and now it's solid. Would buy again.

I would have used clear tape leaves less residue but,you worked it out.

Received my macro dna 75 yesterday.. this is my third dna75 to date along with hotcig dx75, elfin dna 75 and now, this little beast.. let see how it perform in my day to day activity..

so far so good except the battery door issue.. yup, it slides easily, I mean to easily.. I think it was a design flaw, the bottom door cover should have been made the same as the top portion, so that the bottom base act like a stopper.

@zed888, would you mind sharing some pictures of your battery door fix?

I dont have one but have seen a 40w version in person and they are pretty slick. I have been wanting one but now this 75w version this maybe the way to go.

The DNA60 is becoming available now. That's the one I've been waiting for because it acccomodates the higher ohm builds I favor. Does anyone know if the board is the same shape and size as the 75? If yes then it could be offered in boxes designed for the 75.

No, the DNA60 is DNA40 sized. Much different form factor.

the DNA 60 board isn't the same shape as the 75. it's more like the DNA 40 footprint.

Where did you find a silicone skin for the Sbody DNA40 Macro? I've got one coming soon, and I'd like to buy a skin for it.

If the dna60 is the same as the dna40 then the 60 should fit in the macro dna40 case. They are the same boxes and should fit where the screen is now.

The DNA75 should acommodate the same resistances as the DNA60, shouldn't it?

I am just going by what OP pics of the dna60 board look like. If they are the same or similar in size,the 60 should have no problem fitting the macro dna40.
