Set up a little coil building "station" in my home office tonight

I used to build them on my coffee table watching tv or on my kitchen table. But my eyes aren't the best and it's kind of a pain to go grab all my tools and put them back after.

Now all my tools are right there. Light is great. Life is good.

I have this in my hobby room. I wish I'd made the workbench a little bigger, but it works for the coil winding and re-wicking, and other small things I work on.

Building coils will quickly have you realize how much older you've gotten. I'm only 39 but have been eyeing those reading glasses at the grocery store lately

Know what ya mean. I'm 70 and things aren't as good as they used to be. I have had one cataract surgery, and waiting on another, so my vision is kinda annoying, but I'm getting by.
