I have a Kimtech clone with a MOSFET fire button and it was getting hot when its pushed for 5-6 seconds.
The battery was getting a bit low on charge and switch started getting hot and heat was transferred to metal deck.
I put in a fresh charged cell and it still got hot.
I tried it today and chain vaping for 30-40 seconds and it's getting warm but not hot like it was.
I usually don't chain vape but each draw is 5-6 seconds.
None of my other mod buttons gets warm like this, pico and pico squeeze, coppervape, frankenskull,or hcigar inbox,so before I take deck off and inspect wires, solder joints,etc... I thought Id ask if MOSFET generate heat is normal.
It's supposed to be a 3034 and able to handle 375watts.

    Thanks,
I checked all the connections visually and with a meter.
Didn't see any shorts or weak connections.

I did notice that the MOSFET pulls a current once cell is inserted.Should have wrote down value.
Without a cell in mod from positive to negative reads continuous or a short.

I think the button was getting hot because I let cell discharge too much.
